Sept 15th: TEDxHalifax (& Digital NS)

Summer’s almost over and time to get back to business. We’re very happy to have Greig Oldford, Curator of TEDxHalifax & Co-organizer of TEDxNovaScotia, to discuss the next TEDx event in Halifax (more info below).

• Location: the Foggy Goggle on Argyle Street in Halifax
• Time: 5-8pm

Additionally, Digital Nova Scotia will once again be holding their monthly TechLounge event with us. So not only will we have some more folks on hand, they’ll be around for you to find out what our provincial digital technologies industry organization is all about!
TEDxNovaScotia is a distributed and collaborative conference intended to showcase the leading thinking and doers in Nova Scotia. It is licensed by TED.com but is an independently organized event. It will follow the TED format and include a mixture of live talks, tech demos, musical performances, and selected videos from the TED.com/talks website. The theme of this year’s event is designing your life within your community, and Greig will be talking about this and more.
So get out to the last event of summer and help build a great tech, media, and marketing community in Halifax!
